Weddings
Every guest’s photos of your wedding, on one film.
Your photographer covers the ceremony. Capsule gives the rest of the day to your guests: a digital disposable camera they open from a QR code on the table, a few shots each, and one roll that develops after the last dance.
The photographer leaves at eleven. The wedding doesn’t.
The dance floor at one in the morning, the kitchen, the speech nobody planned, your gran with a sparkler. Those pictures only ever exist on your guests’ phones, spread across a hundred camera rolls you will never see. Capsule puts them in one place.
A QR code on every table. Nothing to download.
Print your invitation card, prop it up next to the place names, and that is the setup. Guests scan the QR code, type their name and start shooting in their browser. No app, no account, no password for your aunt to forget.
Twenty-four shots each, and none of them visible yet.
A short roll makes people choose. Full photos stay sealed until the reveal time you set, so nobody is checking their pictures through the vows, and the whole day arrives at once — the morning after, over breakfast, if you like.
A wedding guest book with photos in it.
Every frame in the film carries the name of the guest who took it, and they can add a caption. Stand the QR code next to the guest book and the roll becomes a second one: the whole day in pictures, signed by the people who were there. Print your favourites for the album.
How it works at a wedding

- 02

On the invitation card, the table plan or the welcome sign. Anyone with a phone camera can join.
- 03
Wake up to the roll
The film develops at the time you chose, and everyone can download the photos at full resolution.
Wedding questions
How much does it cost for a wedding?
A hundred guests with twenty-four shots each is £27, paid once. There is no subscription. Five people with twelve shots each is free, if you want to try it first.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR code or tap the link, and the camera opens in their browser. They can join without registering.
Can we see the photos during the wedding?
Not by default, which is rather the point. In the film settings you can turn on a host preview, or let guests see their own shots.
Can Capsule be our wedding guest book?
It works beside a paper one or instead of it. Each photo shows who took it and any caption they wrote, so the developed roll reads like a photo guest book, and you can download every frame at full resolution to print.
What if a guest wants a photo removed?
They can ask, before or after the film develops, and the frame is taken out. Email privacy@trycapsule.app with the film name and roughly when it was taken.
